In a work environment, it is very easy to assume someone else will take care of something or someone else knows to do something. Never make these assumptions; simply communicate and take action. 

Team members should feel empowered to take ownership of issues and use them as opportunities to be creative and solve problems. If you see a problem, solve it and share the solution with the team. If you see someone struggling, help them. If you’re struggling with something, do your research. If you’re still struggling after 15 minutes of research, speak up and ask for help. If you’ve seen an issue happen with multiple clients, anticipate it and bring the solution before they ask.
