Content we create is driven by a credit system to allow for flexibility of implementation and to give us the ability to have clients commit to budget to content creation before we know exactly what we’re creating.
Although a specific Statement of Work may indicate otherwise, Content Credits are generally allocated as follows:

Because we don’t sell hours directly, our mechanism to do work as needed is an “Ad Hoc Request.” The value of an ad hoc request varies and is typically defined in the Statement of Work for a client. Usage and expiry of Ad Hoc requests is governed by the Statement of Work, but they generally expire at the end of the Statement of Work.
If Ad Hoc Requests are not defined in our client agreement, the breakdown of value per deliverable is as follows:
Deliverable |
Number of Ad Hoc Requests |
SEO Site Audit |
5 |
Competitive Analysis |
20 |
Competitive Analysis Quarterly Refresh |
10 |
Keyword Portfolio |
3 |
Client Reporting |

Audience Report |
3 |
For deliverables that are not otherwise defined, the number of Ad Hoc Requests is determined by the equation (Number of Hours x $250) / $2500. A given Ad Hoc Request is worth $2.5k. For any partial ad hoc request, we round up to a whole one. (e.g. if a task is 2.5 Ad Hoc Requests, we round up to 3).
