Account Managers should act as the quarterback of any external deliverable review meetings. They should bookend the discussion as follows:

  1. Greet everyone joining the meeting 
  2. Restate the agenda
  3. Explain the context of the deliverable in the broader scope of the engagement and the customer’s marketing program
  4. Hand off the presentation floor to the team member who put together the work
  5. Take notes for the Meeting Minutes
  6. Offer context on the engagement when it comes up throughout the presentation
  7. Give context on the next steps with the deliverable
  8. Explain when the customer will receive the meeting minutes as a recap
  9. Explain the next stage in our delivery of upcoming deliverables
  10. Thank everyone for coming

Other members of the team should be active participants, answering questions as they arise and otherwise engaging with the conversation to make the customer feel as though they are working with the right team.
