Accounts Payable Onboarding Copy

Topic
Materials

Every organization has a different process for paying their bills. In some cases we are given direct contact to Accounts Payable by default. In other cases, our point of contact deals with Accounts Payable and we never have direct information about when we’re getting paid. As such, our Account Managers will need to establish direct contact with Accounts Payable to ensure that we have all the correct information to be paid on time.

  1. Identify the Accounts Payable contact from the SOW
    1. If the AP contact is the same as the client contact, reach out to them for a direct contact in AP
  2. Schedule a brief discussion with the AP contact
  3. Ask questions on how to submit invoices
    1. Do they require a PO?
    2. When are payments issued
  4. Clarify the terms of our agreement with them
    1. Determine where there may be discrepancies between our agreement and their process
  5. Document details and send to Operations and Account Management with SOW and MSA
